The Clare Coastal Architecture Poster and Educational Project will be launched at Shanmuckinish Castle, Ballyvaughan, County Clare, tomorrow (Wednesday, 30 April 2008) at 11.45am.
Members of the Clare Heritage Office, as well as students of Newquay N.S. and Carron N.S. will attend the launch.
The media is invited to attend the event. Interview and photograph opportunities will be provided.

The Clare Coastal Architecture Poster and Educational Project is an initiative of the Heritage and Conservation Office of Clare County Council, supported by the Heritage Council.
The project forms part of the most comprehensive ever study of County Clare’s maritime and built heritage, the results of which will be published by the Clare Heritage Office next week. The study focused on Clare’s coastline, as well as the Shannon Estuary, the Fergus estuary, and the Shannon river/Lough Derg area, including its inland 18th century navigational system.

Exiting Ballyvaughan travel the Bellharbour Road for three miles. Shanmuckinish Castle is located on your left (shoreline).
