WHAT:
The Burren Connect Project, in association with Clare County Council, Fáilte Ireland, Shannon Development, National Parks and Wildlife Service, National Monuments Service and Burrenbeo will launch ‘The Burren Passport’ and the dedicated Burren Information Points on 6 June 2008.

The Burren Passport is an introduction to the Burren Landscape, Geology, Agriculture, Archaeology, History, Flora, Fauna, Culture and Folklore with a dedicated section for each of the 20 towns and villages in and around the Burren, comprehensive listings on places to stay, where to eat, things to do and annually occurring events in the area.
The Burren Information Points – 9 dedicated information areas in existing visitor centres with access to Burren websites, sale of Burren books, maps and free leaflets relating to the attractions and activities in the Burren.
