Mr. Phil Hogan T.D., Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government, will officially open the Irish Chief Fire Officers’ Association (CFOA) Annual Conference 2012, tomorrow (Wednesday, 09 May 2012) at 09:30 AM. The theme of this year’s two-day event is ‘New Horizons for the Fire and Rescue Service of the Future’.
The conference will be addressed by Chief Fire Officers from around Ireland, Lee Howell (President, UK Chief Fire Officers’ Association), Louise Craig (Chief Executive Officer, Institution of Fire Engineers), Sean Hogan (Director, National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management), Dr. Guillermo Rein (Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh), and Fire and Emergency Officers from the Netherlands, Finland, U.K. and Luxembourg.
