Clare County Library Announces Expansion Of Services At Local Studies Centre

31st October 07 – Clare County Library has announced that users of the Clare Local Studies Centre in Ennis will benefit from longer opening hours from Monday 12th November next. Staff restructuring at the Centre has resulted in opening hours being extended every Tuesday and Friday until 8.00 pm.

Atlantic Connectivity Alliance Application For Slots At Heathrow Is Rejected

25th October 2007 – The Atlantic Connectivity Alliance today received confirmation that its application for slots at Heathrow has been rejected by Airport Co-Ordination Limited, the authority responsible for slot allocation and schedule facilitation at all major airports in the UK.

Government Funding To Assist Operation And Maintenance Of Water And Wastewater Treatment Facilities

Wednesday 24th October 07 - Minister of State and Clare T.D., Mr. Tony Killeen today announced that over EUR700k will shortly be allocated to Clare County Council to assist the local authority in maintaining and operating its water and wastewater treatment facilities.
